If only it were that simple today.

I have a co-worker that has a daily out of office message at 4:00 pm so that she can get her shipping work done. Nice idea.

I set a boundary with my boss, no phone calls after 4pm, I'm establishing production schedule for the next day at this time.

With today's environment and reduced labor force we're working harder and longer. Overtime is zero, for office hourly - leaving more work for salaried people.

This can't be the new normal.

We can set some boundaries though, everything is a choice. I choose how much of my time I'm willing to donate.
